A little inspiration...

"I continue to Believe that if children are given the necessary tools to succeed, they will succeed beyond their wildest dreams."

- David Bitter, U.S. Senator

I am very excited about making an impact on a group of children. When I am passionate about something, it comes through in my work. I am very passionate about children's eating habits and the impact it has on the long term.

I am concerned with ruffling feathers. My program has a nutrition specialist and I feel that advocacy is something that she does well. I am worried that I will step on her toes in my advocacy efforts.

If I talk and collaborate with her, I may be able to avoid this potential problem. Working together may also end up with a bigger impact.

  1. Have you been working her side by side to get some resources on your action plan? I looking forward to reading your post to help young people to eat healthier.

  2. Hi Emily
I agree with Melissa I think the nutrition specialist can be an allies you both can work side by side. She can give you her expertise on nutrition and how your advocacy plan can help the school.

  3. It would be great if she were on board. I hope I can get her as a partner in this endeavor.

  4. Emily, I posted the same inspirational quote. I hope you do work with your nutritionist because she is already a believer in this cause. She is a supporter the same as you and me. I am advocating better nutrition for young children also. Let's make a difference!
